The CHHS Choral Boosters is a non-profit organization that exists for charitable and educational purposes, including making distributions to cover items and expenses that the Clover Hill High School Choral Department is not normally expected to provide.
CHHS Choral Booster Job Descriptions
Below you can find all of our booster board positions. All positions are for a one-year term. Individuals may serve multiple terms in the same office if they choose and are elected to do so. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to us at chhsvachoralboosters@gmail.com.
Executive Committee
President
Preside at General Membership meetings, Officer Meetings, and Board meetings, serve as the official representative of the Choral Boosters, retain all official records of the Choral Boosters, and serve as ex officio member of all committees except the nominating committee.
First Vice President
Assist the President, chair meetings in the absence of the President, and assist committees with their work. Take a lead role in a major area of work, such as fundraising, communications, or a specific supervisory position as designated by the President.
Second Vice President
Assist the President and First Vice President, chair meetings in the absence of the President and First Vice President, and assist committees with their work. Take a lead role in a major area of work such as fundraising, communications, or specific supervisory position as designated by the President.
Treasurer
Serve as custodian of the Choral Boosters finances, collect revenue, pay authorized expenses, report financial activity monthly, prepare a year-end financial report, facilitate an annual audit, and hold all financial records.
Secretary
Record and distribute minutes of all Board meetings and General Membership Choral Booster meetings.
Committee Leads
Fundraising Lead
The Fundraising Lead focuses primarily on Individual and Group Fundraising Events for the Clover Hill Choral Boosters. They will also work closely with our Social Lead on any fundraisers that include experiences.
For this Role, you will be responsible for helping organize fundraisers alongside Ms. Whitby and the Choral Booster Officers. This may include, but is not limited to, contacting companies to set-up fundraisers, calling restaurants regarding Spirit Nights, volunteering at Fundraiser Distributions, and helping with the intake process for Fundraisers. You will also have your Committee to assist with these responsibilities!
The timeline for this workload is focused during the Summer, Fall, and Spring. There will be minimal fundraising efforts in the Winter due to our Competition Season.
Show Preparation Lead
The Show Preparation Lead focuses primarily on helping Ms. Whitby and the Choral Booster Officers as they prepare and execute Show Season.
For this Role, you will be responsible for helping organize volunteers for Costume Alterations and our Stage Crew. You will also help organize volunteers for our Choreography Week if needed. The goal is to pull volunteers from your Committee!
The timeline for this workload is focused during the late Fall and Winter.
Social Lead
The Social Lead focuses primarily on creating and promoting events that will create an inclusive environment for the Clover Hill Choral Program - including students and families! They will work closely with our Fundraising Lead and our Event Lead.
For this Role, you will be responsible for helping organize social events along with promoting said events through our social media platforms.
The timeline for this workload is extended throughout the entire year.
Event Lead
The Event Lead focuses primarily on helping organize and execute events held by the Clover Hill Choral Program.
For this Role, you will be responsible for helping organize choral events along with monitoring Sub-Committees for our larger events.
The timeline for this workload is extended throughout the entire year.
Membership Lead
The Membership Lead focuses primarily on helping organize and promote the Clover Hill Choral Booster Program’s membership by advertising at events throughout the year.
For this Role, you will be responsible for helping organize current and new Booster Memberships as well as recruiting new members.
